Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership (PDAP) is a charity in Kirklees that supports people who have experienced domestic abuse. Anyone can experience domestic abuse regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnic or religious group, class, disability, ability or lifestyle. Types of domestic abuse can include (but aren’t limited to) emotional, physical, financial, sexual, coercive and controlling behaviour. Domestic abuse can take place between current and ex- intimate partners and family members. PDAP believes that everyone has the right to live an abuse free life regardless of their background and that everyone has the right to be free from potential or actual harm.
