Could you be a KiNETIC Trustee?

KiNETIC is re-launching. At the moment, we are led by a volunteer steering group. But we will become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in early 2025, and our members will be electing our first official Trustees soon after.

There will be a formal trustee recruitment process in the new year, but we are inviting anyone who might be interested to get in touch NOW.

We are particularly looking for people with the following lived experience and skills:

• You are a disabled person living or working in Kirklees.
• You are part of one (or more) of the Kirklees Global Majority communities.
• You care about equity and inclusion.
• You can help to promote KiNETIC’s vision, aims, priorities, charitable objects and members’ agreement.
• You have specific skills in grassroots campaigning, coproduction and / or financial management of charities.
• You are a dynamic, positive and creative ‘do-er’, who can help to drive exciting and positive change for disabled people in Kirklees.
