Kirklees Year of Music and Unlimited Micro Grants
21st June 2023
Are you a disabled artist or disabled-led organisation based in Kirklees with an idea for a new music-led work? Would you like funding to test or research your idea?
Kirklees Year of Music (KYOM23) and disabled-led arts commissioners, Unlimited are offering a series of micro-commissions for disabled artists and organisations in Kirklees to explore, experiment and develop their music-led practice this year.
Micro awards of up to £1000 are available to help test, research and develop a creative idea, which could be a performance, recording or sound installation. The idea must be mostly music-led and funds can be used for a variety of things including – but not limited to – rehearsal space, lessons, recording studio, new specialist equipment, instruments, other artists’ time, travel and training.
